Kirkby Lonsdale 

Kirkby Lonsdale is a pretty market town 3.5 miles from St Joseph's House of Prayer.  You can take a pleasant stroll along the river or wander around the market place and shops and enjoy a cup of tea in one of the many cafes to be found.

A must is fish and chips from Jingling Lane and an ice cream from the Milking Parlour.

Look out for Salt Pie Lane, St Mary's Church, The Chocolate Shop and The Brewery.
